The Department of Labor and Employment-Nueva Vizcaya Field Office (DOLE-NVFO) conducted a series of Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) program payouts from July 20-21, 2022 in four (4) towns of Nueva Vizcaya amounting to P4.5M.

The payouts benefitted a total of 857 workers; 298 beneficiaries from Kasibu, 121 beneficiaries from Sta. Fe on July 20, 2022, 274 beneficiaries from Diadi, and 164 beneficiaries from Ambaguio on July 21, 2022.

House representative of the lone district of Nueva Vizcaya, Luisa Lloren “Banti” Cuaresma and OIC-Provincial Director Elizabeth U. Martinez were present in the activity.

Cong. Cuaresma expressed her gratitude to DOLE for the TUPAD program that helped a lot of Novo Vizcayanos in sustaining their needs amidst the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic which caused majority of the displacement of workers in this town.

TUPAD beneficiaries rendered ten to fifteen (10-15) days of community service through clean-up and disinfection of public facilities, and beautification of tourist spots. ###
